Build Green NM Project Conditions and Requirements

I am registering a residential building for certification in the Build Green NM program.  I understand and agree to the following:

1. Payment to Build Green NM must be pair prior to submission of documents for Certification
2. I will hire and pay under separate contract a HERS Rater and Home Innovation Research Lab certified Green Verifier for third party verification of the project I am undertaking.
3. I understand that my verifier and HERS rater are my primary source(s) for information regarding compliance to the Build Green NM certification process.
4. If I am applying for the NM Sustainable Building Tax Credit;

   1. Build Green NM does not guarantee you will receive the tax credit.

   2. A complete certification packet is due to Build Green NM before December 1st of the year you wish to have your project certified.

   3. There is a limited amount of tax credits available each year, first come first received. Credits not available in the year applied for will defer to the next year and so on. Credits may be used up well in advance of the ending date for the NM State Sustainable Building Tax Credits.
